Apple Crisp Recipe!
Scepter Staff recommend one of their favorite fall recipes for Apple Crisp.
Ingredients:
[Apple Mixture Ingredients]
– 8 cups of sliced apples
– 1/4 tsp. of salt
– 2 tsp. of cinnamon
– 1/2 cup of sugar
– 2 T. of flour
[Topping Mixture Ingredients]
– 1 cup of quick oats
– 1 cup of flour
– 1/4 tsp. of baking soda
– 1/4 tsp. of baking powder
– 1 cup of brown sugar
– 2/3 cup of butter
Directions:
Collect all of the ingredients and supplies needed. Peel all of the apples and cut them into slices. Place the slices into a large bowl. Mix in the Apple Mixture Ingredients into the bowl filled with the apple slices. Mix around the ingredients until evenly spread.
Once all the apples are evenly coated with the ingredients, spread them flat across a 13 in X 9 in pan. Set aside.
Next gather all of the Topping Mixture Ingredients. Pour all of these ingredients into a large bowl. Mix all of these ingredients together until the mixture has a soft and crumbly texture.
Once finished mixing the Topping Ingredients, sprinkle the crumbly mixture on top of the apples in the pan. Spread mixture evenly and pat down when done.
Bake the dish for 35-40 minutes at 350° F in the oven, or until golden brown. Once baked, leave out to sit until it has cooled down. Serve warm or cold and enjoy!
