Battle of Starbucks and Dunkin’

Coffee shops have been competing against each other and will continue to compete to get more customers in the door.

The drink pictured here is the pumpkin spiced iced coffee.

Coffee shops have been competing against each other for a long time now.

When I  think about coffee shops competing against each other, I immediately think of Starbucks and Dunkin’.

Starbucks seems to be so overpriced for what you get. While Dunkin’ on the other hand is not overpriced for what you get. For example a tall pumpkin spice frappuccino  at Starbucks would be $4.95, while a small pumpkin spiced iced coffee from Dunkin’ would be $2.19.

I’ve tried many of the drinks from both places, but I will always go back to Dunkin’, because I like the flavor of their coffee more and it’s cheaper.

Every-time fall rolls around, I look forward to pumpkin spice flavored things especially the pumpkin spiced iced coffee from Dunkin’.

This drink consists of 3 pumps of pumpkin, regular iced coffee and cream and sugar.

Another drink I like is the Starbucks pumpkin spice frappuccino. There are some downsides of this drink. One of them is that it is overpriced and it is high in calories and sugar.

Although Dunkin’ and Starbucks both have points and stars, over time you will get more with Dunkin’. Dunkin’ also always has offers that are emailed to its customers.

Dunkin’ and Starbucks will continue to compete against one another. I personally prefer Dunkin’ because I like the flavor of their coffee more and their prices are better.
