Whether it is sparkly, sheer, light or dark, there are many different kinds of dresses that can fit almost anyone’s style.
With homecoming around the corner, many girls are planning the dress they are going to wear, and for some people, they have already committed to this year’s dress.
“I have gotten my homecoming dress and I got it from Dillards,” sophomore Morgan Perez said. “My dress is royal blue and satin with a sweetheart neckline.”
Trying to find the perfect dress can be a stressful experience especially if the atmosphere is not right, and for Senior Madison Perez, that is exactly the issue.
“I don’t like dress shopping because it is very hot in [the dressing room],” Madison Perez said. “The lightning is not good and it makes you look horrific.”
On the other hand, sometimes trying on dresses is what makes the experience.
“I like dress shopping because it is fun to try on different dresses with my friends,” Morgan Perez said.
Madison Perez has already gotten her dress for this year, a light blue satin dress, but in order to finalize the perfect dress, some criteria was put in place.
“I didn’t want to get something with a lot of sequins because I didn’t want to get itchy. Then I didn’t want to get something that was velvet,” Madison Perez said. “Also I didn’t want to get a green [dress] because that’s what I did for prom.”
Although homecoming is right around the corner, there is still time to find the perfect dress. No matter the color or fabric, there is a dress out there for everyone.
